CD Review
This first album "Wanted Man" by Curtis Edmund is definitely a winner. All
songs were written and performed by Curtis. He made the album planning
on doing only one song, but with the encouragement of Wally Moyers - the producer
and instrumentmental background to this album - he decided to add additional
tracks.
As we can tell, there is a fondness for the beauty of life, and
encouragement, with a song like "Keep A-Goin'". You get to travel around the mid-west in this album. You will find that the main talent of Curtis
is his story telling. Through his voice and the musical arrangements we can
go from the old west with "Wanted Man" to being on the road with him as he
travels to New Mexico in "Our Enchanted Hometown". "Snowy Range" makes
you want to drop a line and have a beer with him. We also travel with him to
Texas in "Where Armadillos Are".
I just know you are going to find this one
of the best new albums that you will buy this year from an unsigned artist.
Best of luck Curtis, Keep A-Goin'!!!
